Temperament Testing
Temperament Testing is a series of tests performed to find out if a dog is a good candidate for service dog, emotional support dog, & therapy dog work. This two part series of tests are preformed when the puppies are between 6-7 Weeks Old.
The first series of tests include:

1.Social Test
2. Touch Sensitivity Test:
3: Elevation Test:
4. Restraint Test:
5. Social Dominance Test:
6. Follow Test:

If the dog has a high score it will advance to the second series of tests. If the dog does not have a high enough score it will be categorized as an emotional support dog or family pet.

The second series of tests include:

1. Sight Sensitivity Test:
2. Play Test:
3. Retrieving Test:
4. Sound Sensitivity Test:
5. Food Sensitivity Test:
6. Stability Test:

If the dog has a high score in the second series of tests it will be categorized as a service dog, therapy dog, or both. If the dog does not score high enough on the second series of tests it will be categorized as an emotional support dog or family pet.
